Four Seasons Gresham Palace
Thanks to my hard work and determination, earlier this year I was awarded the opportunity to discover one of the most iconic hotels in Budapest and immerse myself in the luxury universe of Four Seasons.
This is the story of one of my best luxury experiences of the year!
Located right in the center of the Hungarian capital, walking distance to all the main sights; the Four Seasons Gresham Palace is the perfect hotel to discover the city from every angle.
Its refined and attentive service combined with their sophisticated and elegant decor, make it the most prestigious hotel to stay in while visiting Budapest.
With its palace-like facade and distinguished decor, it is a timeless Art Nouveau gem, in which you can enjoy the legendary Four Seasons service.
The luxurious Canadian hotel chain once again reveals a stunning environment with colors and the image of unquestionable know-how.
The many touches and detailed quality service, made my stay a memorable one.
A personalized welcome card, some macaroons, fresh fruit salads and a bottle of local wine. A warm welcome which would set the tone for this upscale stay in Budapest.
I stayed in a deluxe Danube view. I must admit that the location of the hotel probably offers the best view of the Chain Bridge and the other side of the city.
This was my appointment every evening: sipping a glass of red wine while listening to some classical Hungarian music, I would enjoy the sunset from my balcony and let myself be carried away by the charm of Budapest at its golden hour.
The kollazs
The luxury brasserie of the hotel.
With my all-inclusive benefits, I could enjoy every night and day a traditional Hungarian goulash or indulge in the cutting of the Châteaubriand filet or sole meunière, I loved it!
The contemporary decoration, combined with friendly and thoughtful service, sublimates the meal.
It is in this same room that the breakfast buffet is served each morning with a wide selection of fresh and local quality products.
The Bar(s)
The hotel features two bars: one is in the center of the brewery, offering fresh and classic cocktails in the restaurant’s atmosphere.
You will find the second one on the right wing of the palace, right next to the hotel lobby. There you will enjoy more elaborate cocktails to the enchanting melodies of the pianist who plays every night.
I am also sharing my favorite cocktail, which was a successful twist on a Pisco Sour.
For those who have been asking, I also added the main ingredients:
“El Peruviano”!
(Pisco brandy, Yuzu, Curcuma, Withe egg, Crushed Ice)
The Spa at Four Seasons Gresham Palace
The hotel SPA was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. With an infinity pool covered by a bright glassware, a heated Jacuzzi, a steam room and a sauna; relaxation is assured at its fullest. In the morning as in the afternoon, the hotel’s SPA offers an excellent relaxation break to recharge the body and mind with positive energy.
My Luxury Crush
In addition to offering a fully equipped gym, Four Seasons once again pushes the luxury experience to new frontiers.
Every day from 07:00, a private coach accompanies you for an outdoor exercise session where you can simultaneously discover the most beautiful views of the city. Each new exercise series features a new city setting to explore the Hungarian capital at its finest.
